The Rock is a new 100 seater restaurant, with the most spectacular views. Whilst fully air-conditioned, we can throw back the large windows when the weather allows, giving access to the sun-drenched terrace just yards from the waves lapping against the shore.
Our menu is as inviting as our view and there is something for everyone. You can kick back, enjoy your favourite food and one of the best views this idyllic island has to offer.
Our head chef, Adam Wells, has a long pedigree of preparing food in some of the best restaurants in Europe.
Having trained under Marco Pierre White and Tom Kerridge, he brings with him a simplicity of preparation, which allows the flavours of his ingredients to shine through.
Adam has worked hard to ensure that where possible, he uses locally sourced ingredients, including of course, fish and lobsters caught from the waters around us.
We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner at The Rock and we are open to residents and those who simply want to join us for a meal and soak up the atmosphere. If you just fancy a drink, then our bar is also open to everyone who wants to relax and enjoy the beach view.
With over 90% of our products being from island suppliers we are proud to promote the ingredients being used within our dishes including garlic from the world-famous garlic farm, Isle of Wight tomatoes, meat from our on-island supplier ‘Billy the butcher’ & family, and fish from multiple island suppliers to make sure you always receive the best catch of the day.

The Cabin is at the heart of the hotel and probably the oldest surviving part of the building. As today, it welcomed everyone back in the 1700’s, whether they were staying the night or simply passing through.
Of course the new Cabin is a far cry from the smoke filled rooms of the Georgian tap house. Now fully refurbished with a coastal chic feel, the beach views can be enjoyed through the panoramic windows, with a drink in hand. Serving beer, wines and cocktails, there is something for everyone and all are welcome.
