Important notice

On Saturday 2nd May we were alerted to a global breach of a large travel agent linked to our own booking system. We are currently investigating the extent of this breach and which, if any, of our own guests’ details have been accessed. We have been assured that the bank details of guests have not been accessed, however we are aware of a series of scam messages being sent out requesting confirmation of payment which could put your details at risk.

We are recommending that any of our guests who are contacted via WhatsApp or an email account that is not associated with our hotel please do not follow any links claiming they are from us. Contact from The Albion is always done via our own email addresses or telephone call. Please block and report any account that is sending you a suspicious message and if you could please forward screenshots of any suspect emails or messages to [email protected] we would appreciate it greatly. If you have any concerns that your bank card may have been breached please contact your bank immediately to block your card.

Your reservations remain valid and we will not be requesting any online payments from guests until we are fully assured that the breach has been resolved.

We encourage you to report any phishing scam by following this link: Avoid and report internet scams and phishing: Report internet scams and phishing – GOV.UK

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
